For a full wedding bar, two bartenders per 100 guests is a reliable starting point. Menu complexity, bar placement, and the cocktail-hour rush can change the final plan.

Consider two stations based on the floor plan
These are planning guidelines, not venue rules. A champagne pass, multiple rooms, specialty cocktails, or separate cocktail-hour and reception bars may require more staff.
For a full bar, plan on two bartenders for 100 guests. Add another bartender when the menu is cocktail-heavy, the venue has multiple service areas, or a very short cocktail hour will create a concentrated rush.
For a four-hour reception with 80 drinking guests, plan for roughly 400 drinks. The exact beer, wine, and liquor quantities depend on your chosen beverage mix; use the calculator above to create the shopping list.
A standard 750ml bottle provides about five glasses. Seated dinners often use a higher wine share than cocktail-style receptions, so adjust the wine percentage to match your service plan.
Plan the toast separately from the main bar estimate. One 750ml bottle provides about six modest toast pours, though actual yield depends on glass size and pour level.
In most markets, the host purchases the alcohol from the final shopping list. Majestic Maraschinos can provide the professional team, complete bar setup, mixers, fresh garnish, glassware, ice program, service, and breakdown.
